The Ghana Tour 2019

The first of our tours to Ghana and Israel is The Ghana Tour. It would start from New York to London City Airport on the 22 July 2019. Members of the group would spend three nights and days, touring places of interest. Unfortunately, group members should endeavour to stick to the schedule of the tour and not wander off to places of particular interest to allow for safety and management of the group. 

The outward journey starts on the 26 July, from London City Airport to Kotoka International Airport, Accra Ghana. The first impressions would be an interaction with the weather; teeming at 30C. Members of the group should have changed into tropical clothing after leaving the Sahara Desert (while in the air).

The Ghana Tour proper would be in earnest at this time, a schedule of which can be gleaned below. Organisers will endeavour to keep to the schedule as much as possible, but, where a tour cannot be fulfilled, alternative arrangements would be made to salvage the situation. A typical situation would be where access to an attraction is closed or the attraction is not available to visitors on the particular day.

The Tour ends on 4th August, 2019 and members would fly out from Kotoka International Airport to JFK International New York.

  • Mount Afadjato - the highest mountain in Ghana (Only seasoned climbers may attempt a climb. A partial climb may be attempted.)

  • Valco Aluminium Plant
  • Tema Harbour and Tema township.

  • Accra Mall
  • Junction Mall
  • Beach trip

  • Shabbat in Conference with the Holy Spirit Fire
  • Confessing our sins and those of our Fathers calling forth the anointing and covering of Yah

We hope to arrange visits to customary sites like, palaces of Chiefs of old kingdoms of the Ashanti, Ewe (Erhverh) and Ga traditional areas, and possibly attend a cultural or annual festival or have an audience with a chief.

We are aware that Panafest may be in session during the visit and hope to visit the programme as members so choose. We will also visit the Yeshua Village Hostel site if the Hostel has not been completed (if it is completed we will be hosted there).
